    The meat Festival is one of the grand festivals of Xinjiang's Uygur, Hui, Kazak, Tatar, Tajik and Uzi Buick. The kirziz Festival is also called "the festival of fasting".

Islam stipulates that every Muslim must have a month's confines every year, and it is also an important "skill training" that the believers must fulfill. During the Ramadan, they do not eat or drink during the day, or even swallow saliva. After the sun has fallen to the mountain, we can eat and drink. So this festival is also a religious custom. The fasting date is September in the Islamic calendar. This month is called Ramadan. "Ramadan" can appear in the spring, summer, autumn and winter of the year, the reason is that the Islamic calendar is the pure lunar calendar, the moon appears on the day of the first month, 30 days a month, 29 days of a month, 12 months of the year, without a leap month, 354 or 355 days, which is 10 days or 11 days less than the solar calendar. There is no fixed relationship between the month and season, so the "mezi Festival" will take turns in the four seasons of the year.

In September, after a month of fasting, it changed to normal life in October 1st, and held a service and celebration, called "Eid al Fitr". The Xinjiang area is called the "meat - Giz". In fact, "Zi Zi" is also "fasting" in Arabic. There are many statements about the origin of the "meat - Giz". In ancient times, in order to avoid the invasion of the rulers of the different ethnic groups, people avoided fire in the deep mountains during the day and did not cook, and began to cook when the moon rose in the evening. In fact, this festival is a religious activity and then becomes a national custom. Fasting is known as one of the five major achievements in Islam. Mohamed once said, "fasting is half tolerance." According to Islam, fasting is not only to eat or drink, but also to stop all bad behaviors.

 

    Religiously speaking, people are filthy. Nowadays, some people who believe in Islam are not fasting, but celebrate Eid al Fitr as a grand traditional festival. Before the festival came, people made various preparations to clean up the house, and to make up the festival costumes. Women also want to fry the meat, make dessert, cook jam, buy all kinds of fruits and nuts, and prepare for the festival guests.

On the morning of the festival, Muslims gathered at the mosque and began celebrating. On that day, people will ignore the past "lump" and "friction", and will shake hands, and return to good, cheerfully greeting each other.
